How to Turn a Custom Twitter Search into an RSS Feed

Want to turn Twitter into a powerful monitoring tool, without using an app–or even having a Twitter account?

You can create a custom search of Twitter, then make it an RSS feed that’s delivered right to your preferred feed reader. It’s a one step process. Ready?

Enter the following URL in a web browser, replacing “self+publishing” with whatever you want to monitor on Twitter:

http://search.twitter.com/search.rss?q=self+publishing

When you see the results, just add it to your preferred RSS reader. Done!

NOTE: Be sure to put a plus sign (+) between multiple words. You can’t use hash marks (#), but you can use “at” signs (@).
