Google has combined Google Music and the Google eBookstore into something much larger: Google Play.

Google Play will sell music, books, movies, and Android apps, and offers a lot of features that should be familiar to Amazon and Apple customers.

So long, Android Market. Hello, Google Play.

I won’t be surprised if Google starts building a better user experience connection between Play and Android. And since the Kindle Fire’s Android operating system is licensed from Google–I’ll bet Amazon is paying close attention today.
